Does anyone know about the public hearing for REACH Codes or anyone plan to attend?
I heard the city is considering banning natural gas. I really wish that won’t happen otherwise my utility bill will skyrocket.
Has anyone heard of the City’s consideration of REACH Codes to ban natural gas?
First time I heard I thought it’s bogus, but received a newsletter from the city that they are hosting public hearings to discuss and likely pass it???!!! I used an electric stove before but it never cooked the same way as gas stove so I ended up switching back. Not sure how I’m goanna handle my energy bill either.
Is anyone going to the public meeting for on banning natural gas?
I won’t be able to make it but I’ll be sending in my public comment to City Hall before the Feb. 3 deadline to express my opposition. Personally I think it’s something that makes you feel good but definitely going too far for residents.
